About Us

PETERS REAL ESTATE has been an active
full service real estate office since Collis Peters opened it in his
home on Nauset Road, North Eastham, in1956. A few years later it
moved to its present location on Route 6. Our goal is to provide
just a little bit more than you expect. We handle sales and summer rentals in the National Seashore towns of Wellfleet and Eastham. Our personal service for summer rentals is geared to doing more than just finding you a place to stay. We want to help you find the right place. Sometimes this means saying “No”. We have referred many people to other agencies when we felt we didn't list the special place they were looking for. Martie Cunningham, who has owned Peters Real Estate since 1987, formerly taught first grade in Provincetown and was the secretary in the Wellfleet Elementary School. She was an office manager for a motel on Beach Point in North Truro. She revamped the Wellfleet Information Booth and ran its summer information service before coming to Peters. With local contacts and a background in tourism, she brought her experience to Peters Real Estate in 1980, created a rental department, and became the first Rental Agent on Cape Cod and in Massachusetts. It is this background that makes finding a rental through this office an esier and more rewarding experience. |
