How to find us How
to call us: During the off-season months we rely on a telephone
tape
recorder (answering machine) at night, on Sundays, and whenever we have
to leave the office on errands. In
the summer, we employ Nauset Answering Service. The recorded
instructions give you the option of leaving a message that we will
receive the morning of the next business day, or reaching one of
their live LOCAL humans in an emergency. They know how
to contact us
24/7 and your emergency call wil be returned as soon as possible. In
a snowstorm: Cape roads can be treacherous during a
snowstorm, or
during an "ocean effect squall", a small, localized blizzard. If
we
are unable to open the office or close early due to bad weather or
dangerous road conditions, you can still reach us during business
hours. E-mail us with questions. I try to answer e-mails
within a
couple of hours. (You can use our pre-addressed email by
clicking the
email button on our web site, too.) If you leave a
message on the
phone, I'll check the office by remote several times a day
and return
all calls. And if I know I'm going to be snowed in, I'll have
Instant
Messaging and/or Skype set up as well so that I can answer
questions and describe cottages immediately. As always, we
ask
that reservations be made by phone when the office is open so we can
confirm the availability. However, during periods of severe
weather I
will take tentative bookings from my home and confirm them as soon
as
weather conditions permit. Of course, it is possible that a
winter
storm could cause a power failure. If you don't hear from us,
it's
possible we're in the dark! |Home||Contact Us||Index||FAQ||Rentals||Dates & Rates||Locations||Rushed/Web-shy||Sales||Blog||Indian Summer| |
