Kinsman is set into a hill with woods all around it; its deck faces a little lily pond (not swimmable) at the bottom. Even though it has neighbors, its location on the hillside gives it distance and privacy. The small, well proportioned rooms fit together to make it a perfect little cottage. The L-shaped living room/kitchen that is almost 2 rooms, three small bedrooms, and a bathroom with a stall shower (a robust person might feel the bathroom is almost too small) make up a clean and well-kept interior. It is just a short distance to the National Seashore Visitors Center, amphitheater, and bike trail, and along the way is a fisherman's landing on Minister's Pond. it's also 1 1/2 bikeable miles on country roads to Nauset High. Laundry access is limited to 2-week (or longer) rentals.
